The MCC is committed to doing the work to challenge systemic racism, dismantling white supremacy in therapy and exploring how our privilege can lead to blind spots as clinicians.

Our commitment to this work includes: 

​

• Bi-monthly meetings open to all of our community to create and implement diversity, equity, and belonging initiatives. 

• Ongoing trainings for the therapists in our community to discuss various aspects of diversity and equity. 

• Inviting in experts on diversity training for the MCC staff, leadership team, and board members. 

• Centering the hiring of BIPOC clinicians, board members, and leadership . 

• Bi-monthly groups led by trainers in the community who are experts in the field. 

• Offering a Diversity Fellowship for clinicians of color to provide extra support for interns navigating the economic and institutional challenges of becoming licensed.​
